Responsibilities

• Ensure a classroom culture characterized by high expectations and high support
• Create an inclusive classroom and school community through training and dialogue on DEI
• Plan and prepare for effective implementation of research-based curriculum
• Develop and use assessment data to refine curricula and instructional practice
• Maintain strong relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues
• Improve professional practice through weekly coaching and professional development
• Cultivate social-emotional well-being of scholars
• Foster active citizenship through current events and community service
• Engage in whole-school events, family conferences, and tutoring

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Commitment to college success and civic engagement
• Ability to use data analysis to drive instructional decisions
• Deep content-area expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of teaching experience in urban areas
• State teaching certification
