About the role

Responsibilities

  • Answer and triage calls to the TB hotline
  • Escalate inquiries to appropriate BTBC staff
  • Coordinate hospital discharge requests for infectious TB patients
  • Work with case management to support safe discharge and care transitions
  • Document hotline interactions and assist with operations data collection

Requirements

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of infection control and airborne isolation principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization and documentation skills
