About the role
Responsibilities
- Answer and triage calls to the TB hotline
- Escalate inquiries to appropriate BTBC staff
- Coordinate hospital discharge requests for infectious TB patients
- Work with case management to support safe discharge and care transitions
- Document hotline interactions and assist with operations data collection
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of infection control and airborne isolation principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization and documentation skills
