Tax Transfer Pricing Senior Specialist (Non-China)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of non-Mainland China transfer pricing policies across various business lines.
• Manage end-to-end annual and quarterly transfer pricing settlement processes, including data collection and model calculation.
• Conduct regular transfer pricing health checks to identify tax and operational risks and drive remediation.
• Provide professional advisory support for business model evolution, new projects, and organizational restructuring.
• Manage external advisors and lead the preparation and review of global transfer pricing documentation.
• Support responses to tax authority inquiries and audits.
• Collaborate with tax, legal, and finance teams to ensure consistency in intercompany transaction data and cost allocation.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and support group-level tax planning initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transfer pricing within professional services firms or in-house tax roles.
• Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and international tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis with strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin is essential for communicating with Chinese stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the technology, internet, or high-tech industries.
• Professional tax qualifications such as CPA, CTA, or equivalent certifications.
