Tax Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Prepare provisional income tax (ISR) payments and final VAT (IVA) returns
• Prepare annual tax returns for legal entities and trusts
• Prepare and file informational tax returns, such as DIOT
• Compile and manage tax working papers
• Support VAT and income tax (ISR) refund processes
• Calculate annual inflation adjustments and support the determination of CUCA and CUFIN
• Perform basic accounting-to-tax reconciliations
• Address tax authority (SAT) requirements and monitor the tax mailbox (buzón tributario)
• Support tax reviews and overall compliance for clients and suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4–5 years of experience working in a tax or accounting firm
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Income Tax Law (ISR) and VAT Law (IVA)
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Tax Code
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and tax refund processes
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency using the SAT portal and tax mailbox (buzón tributario)
• Strong analytical thinking and critical review skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tax audit reports (dictamen fiscal)
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English
