Tax Senior

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of supervisors, managers, or partners
• Prepare complicated tax returns and index work papers
• Suggest client tax planning ideas to managers, directors, or partners
• Participate in the planning and scheduling of client engagements
• Assist staff with assigned work and verify client information through various procedures
• Meet all time constraints and client deadlines while maintaining high work quality
• Think analytically to understand the "big picture" of each engagement

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in public accounting
• CPA certification or currently working towards obtaining it
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and prioritize changing workloads
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Real Estate tax returns
• Experience with partnership tax returns
