Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the tax team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance
• Oversee preparation and submission of all tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and cash flow
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax assessments
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of tax matters
• Collaborate with finance and legal departments to support business operations and projects from a tax perspective

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in tax accounting and management
• Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations
• Experience managing tax teams and coordinating with external auditors
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems such as Oracle
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and tax regulations
