Tax Practice Group Talent Lead, EMEA

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Tax Practice Group Talent Strategy aligned with regional strategic goals and financial targets
• Manage the talent pipeline, including succession planning and the promotion process from Associate to Partner
• Lead performance management processes, including annual evaluations, moderation, and calibration meetings
• Provide career development coaching and identify training needs for lawyers in partnership with leadership
• Drive workforce planning initiatives, including capacity reviews, team shaping, and headcount right-sizing
• Facilitate the integration of lateral Partners and new Associates through structured onboarding and orientation
• Partner with People Centres of Excellence to deliver innovative people solutions and drive engagement plans
• Provide commercial advice and guidance to EMEA leadership on employee relations matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Talent, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field
• Extensive experience in Talent Management, ideally within a professional services environment
• Proven experience working across multiple jurisdictions and locations
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with senior leaders and stakeholders
• Strong coaching, counseling, and business acumen skills

Preferred Qualifications

• JD or previous experience working within a law firm
• Active involvement in the professional development or talent management community
