Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyze U.S. and non-U.S. direct tax, indirect tax, and tax reporting/compliance impacts of Twitch projects and initiatives
• Partner with Legal, Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to shape tax requirements
• Manage outside counsel and external tax advisors on advisory matters and documentation
• Communicate tax analysis and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization, including executive audiences
• Support tax planning for Twitch’s digital entertainment business and broader Amazon digital initiatives

Requirements

• CPA or JD, or equivalent advanced tax training/experience
• 3+ years of experience in Big 4, a law firm, or equivalent in-house tax role
• Experience supporting multinational digital enterprises with tax planning
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and non-U.S. tax concepts, including income tax, withholding tax, reporting, VAT, DSTs, treaty PEs, transfer pricing, and SALT
• Ability to provide practical, business-facing guidance on complex tax issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with entertainment, media, ads, or social media platform businesses
• Familiarity with Twitch or similar digital consumer platforms
• LLM, Master of Tax, or relevant tax practice experience
