Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of APAC entities for direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory
• Manage tax audits, risks, and serve as the subject matter expert for assigned entities
• Supervise junior team members in data preparation and coordinate with external service providers for tax returns
• Coordinate tax payments, calculations, and tax provisions for local and consolidated financial statements
• Work with internal and external transfer pricing teams to maintain files and track intercompany balances
• Research and resolve technical tax issues arising from transactions and product offerings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, legal, customs, and finance to ensure compliance
• Support the business in assessing tax implications for new business initiatives and country launches
• Drive the implementation of systems or technologies associated with tax initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax
• 6+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporation
• Must have the current right to work in Singapore
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Singapore

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience at multinational companies with business activities across multiple APAC countries
• Expertise in tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax advisory, and tax controversy
• Experience dealing with GST/VAT
• Data analytics skills
