Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activities of the tax department and improve workflows
• Supervise tax activities to ensure full compliance with legislation
• Develop and communicate internal tax procedures and guidelines
• Provide tax and accounting advisory to Finance and other departments
• Manage relationships with external auditors
• Oversee tax authorizations and fiscal registration for new locations
• Contribute to projects for improving tax and financial processes
• Calculate deferred income tax in accordance with IAS and report to the Group
• Analyze expenses and revenues for tax optimization opportunities
• Monitor legislative changes and update official databases
• Review external service provider contracts for correct tax treatment
• Review financial statements and tax reports for the Board and the Group
• Ensure accuracy in tax calculations, returns, and declarations

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Romanian tax legislation
• Proven experience in tax compliance and tax audits
• Experience interacting with fiscal authorities
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience working with external auditors and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and structured approach to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
