Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Independent management and continuous development of tax processes in corporate and sales tax
• Preparation, review, and coordination of VAT and corporate tax returns as well as Intrastat filings for national and international companies
• Assessment of complex tax issues and advisory for internal departments
• Acting as a contact person for tax authorities, auditors, and external tax consultants
• Implementation of new tax requirements and development of internal guidelines
• Calculation of current and deferred taxes according to IFRS and HGB for annual financial statements and group reporting
• Identification and implementation of optimization potential through automation and digitalization of tax processes

Requirements

• Degree in economics with a focus on tax or finance, or comparable training with several years of relevant experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience in tax, ideally in an international company or a tax consultancy/audit firm
• Sound knowledge of corporate and sales tax law
• Proficient use of ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
• Very good German and English skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working with strong analytical skills
