Tax Equity Financing Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project financing process for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS) in the US and Canada, from initial structuring to closing.
• Develop and manage bankable financial models to analyze project profitability under various structures, including tax equity, hybrid models, and tax credit sales.
• Provide strategic guidance to O&M and Asset Management teams to mitigate Tax Credit Recapture Risk and ensure compliance with IRA requirements (Transferability, Prevailing Wage, and Apprenticeship).
• Prepare teasers and Confidential Information Memorandums (CIM) for financing tranches.
• Collaborate with global finance and renewable energy business teams located in the US and Seoul.
• Stay current on evolving financing structures and regulatory environments in the US and Canada renewable energy sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable undergraduate program with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax equity financing specifically within the Solar and BESS sectors in the US.
• Proven experience with full financial closings involving tax equity, hybrid financing, and commercial project loans.
• Advanced skills in developing and handling complex, bankable financial models for the US Solar/BESS markets.
• Ability to work onsite at the headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ.
• Willingness to travel within the US and Canada as required.
• English/Korean bilingual skills are highly preferred to facilitate communication with the corporate headquarters in Korea.
