Tax Director

Responsibilities

• Supervise all US and International tax compliances and submissions, including Corporate Tax, State and Local Sales/Use Taxes, VAT, and Franchise Taxes
• Manage direct and indirect taxation matters in collaboration with third-party tax consultants
• Oversee the filing of tax returns and the finalization of audits
• Manage monthly and quarterly provision workings, including tracking NOLs (Sec 382), section 162(m), GILTI, and deferred taxes
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide strategic advice to internal teams
• Analyze tax implications for intercompany matters across US and global entities
• Build, lead, and supervise the tax team while ensuring a strong internal control environment
• Support both internal and external audit processes

Requirements

• CA or CPA certification
• 6-10 years of professional experience in taxation
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• A detail-oriented, "hands-on" work attitude with the ability to work with minimum supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a US-based company
• Experience handling corporate tax roles in a global environment
