Tax Counsel

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with business objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders
• Analyze business operations, transactions, and investments to identify potential tax issues and risk management strategies within global value chains
• Stay updated on tax laws, policies, regulations, and industry trends
• Support tax-related matters associated with mergers, acquisitions, and divestments
• Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical, strategic solutions
• Distill recent legislation and regulations into practical guidance for the tax compliance organization

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of tax planning experience
• Minimum of a J.D. degree
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state

Preferred Qualifications

• Tax LL.M. preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other support functions
• Commitment to sharing knowledge to develop team capabilities
