Tax Compliance Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

• Supervise APAC tax compliance for both direct and indirect taxes across regional entities
• Oversee tax calculations, return filings, and payments to ensure timely compliance with local legislations
• Monitor tax developments in APAC countries and advise on relevant implications and implementation
• Prepare tax provisions and tax packages for APAC entities as required
• Support the APAC Senior Tax Manager with specific compliance initiatives and tax inspections
• Analyze the tax implications of business activities to align with group policy and mitigate risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally a combination of Big 4 and in-house experience within an MNC
• Sound knowledge of prevailing China, Hong Kong, and international tax laws and regulations
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with emerging AI-powered tools
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both spoken and written)
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
