About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file U.S. and Canadian tax returns
- Perform analysis of business transactions to determine appropriate tax treatment
- Calculate and process tax payments
- Conduct account reconciliations and follow up on open items
- Apply new technologies to improve tax processes with a focus on innovation
- Conduct audit activities to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Collaborate on compliance matters and audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics (or within 4 months of graduation)
- Advanced English fluency
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of international taxation
