Norm Ai, the agentic law company, has a client base with a combined $30 trillion in assets under management. Norm Ai pioneered Legal Engineering, the process that empowers lawyers to build and supervise domain-specific AI agents with Norm’s proprietary suite of no-code software tools.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and redline fund formation documents, LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and tax opinion memoranda
• Use AI tools to conduct rapid document reviews, identify key terms and tax provisions, and generate client-facing memos
• Integrate AI agents into workflow management across the full fund lifecycle including entity structuring, UBTI/ECI analysis, and portfolio transactions
• Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity
• Work closely with technology teams to improve fund tax practice efficiency using AI

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Active bar admission in New York
• 3–5 years of tax experience at a top law firm
• Meaningful exposure to private investment funds (private equity, venture, and/or hedge)
• Strong technical foundation in partnership tax
• Familiarity with UBTI, ECI, and fund structuring for diverse investor bases
• Interest in building AI-assisted workflows

Benefits

• Base salary between $270,000 - $385,000
