Tax and VAT Advisor/Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Assist Norwegian and international companies and groups with matters related to national and international tax law, tax/VAT law, and corporate law
• Lead independent client assignments including advisory services regarding the company and its owners, such as restructuring, due diligence, corporate tax, tax treaties, changes in ownership structure, and incentive schemes
• Actively contribute to new client relationships and contact networks in collaboration with colleagues from other business areas and Grant Thornton internationally

Requirements

• Master in Law (Master i rettsvitenskap) or Cand.jur.
• More than 5 years of experience in advisory services within tax, VAT, and corporate law
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
• Strong business orientation and understanding of the Norwegian business sector
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships both externally and internally
• Proactive mindset with a strong drive to deliver client value
