Tax Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis and validation of tax operations, focusing on ICMS and ISS
• Act in the structuring of triangular operations (order sales, symbolic remittance, industrialization by order, etc.)
• Support the design of new operational flows, evaluating tax impacts and fiscal risks
• Perform fiscal classification of operations (CFOP, nature of operation, tax incidence)
• Monitor the issuance of tax documents (NF-e, NFS-e), ensuring compliance with legislation
• Identify tax risks and operational inconsistencies, proposing adjustments
• Support the preparation of technical opinions and internal guidance
• Interact with internal areas (billing, accounting, operations) for process alignment
• Support tax improvement and standardization projects

Requirements

• Higher education in Accounting, Administration, Law, or related fields
• Knowledge of ICMS and ISS
• Experience with tax operations (billing, CFOP, nature of operation)
• Basic knowledge of electronic tax documents (NF-e / NFS-e)
• Familiarity with triangular operations
• Knowledge of basic tax legislation applied to daily operations
• Intermediate Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the design/structuring of tax operations
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS, etc.)
• Experience with tax projects or process improvements
• Knowledge of ancillary obligations (SPED, EFD ICMS/IPI, ISSQN)
• Analytical capacity and critical view of tax risk
• Good communication skills for interfacing with non-tax areas
