Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure timely preparation and filing of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and VAT/GST returns.
• Support the preparation and review of annual transfer pricing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee accurate payment of all tax obligations, including VAT/GST and advance tax.
• Prepare detailed tax computations and supporting documentation for VAT/GST refund applications and tax incentives.
• Handle VAT/GST registrations and updates in line with evolving business needs.
• Liaise with tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate responses to queries and notices.
• Monitor changes in direct and indirect tax regulations and support necessary system updates.
• Support tax accounting activities, including reconciliations and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants to track filings, assessments, and refund statuses.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
• 3+ years of experience in international tax compliance, tax audit, or tax advisory is preferred.
• Fluent English proficiency (TOEIC 800+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+).
• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Group Reporting, BlackLine, Workiva) or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
