Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual income tax returns and monthly/quarterly sales tax filings in accordance with country-specific regulations.
• Calculate deferred taxes and ensure appropriate accounting treatment following relevant standards.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and contribute to global tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Manage country-specific tax payments and oversee customs payment processes in collaboration with the AP department.
• Ensure foreign trade compliance by managing documentation such as Mexico’s Complemento de Pago and CSF.
• Update tax master data and address tax-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Oversee a group of tax analysts to ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in taxation, finance, accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in tax accounting and general accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Oracle ERP Suite.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish (both spoken and written).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or Enrolled Agent designation (or local equivalent).
