Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute indirect and direct tax compliance for assigned legal entities in Canada and the Caribbean Region
• Support AR WHT reconciliation and the creation of WHT certificates
• Support tax audits from a transactional perspective to minimize manual work
• Analyze and prepare accounting adjustments to ensure tax positions match the General Ledger
• Maintain and update tax trackers to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Collaborate on Tax Asset Monetization initiatives and provide operational support to the Regional Tax Team
• Liaise with the broader tax and finance organizations
• Proactively seek process improvements and automation opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Latin America, Caribbean, or Canada taxation compliance (In-house multinational or Big 4 experience)
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SAP
• Experience with Blackline and account reconciliation preparation
• Proven experience in AR WHT analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, Global Mobility, or Shared Service Centers
