Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance processes for Bacardi Mexican entities, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Prepare monthly tax calculations and returns, including VAT, ExT, and WHT.
• Extract and review data from SAP to prepare local filings and reconcile tax accounts monthly.
• Coordinate information flow between local finance teams, tax advisors, and the internal shared service center (BES).
• Implement process improvements and automations to enhance tax filing workflows.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and collaborate on the implementation of new regulations and audits.
• Assist with documentation and working papers for Corporate Income Tax calculations and VAT refunds.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• 1-2 years of experience in tax filings and reporting.
• 1-2 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in SAP is required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS SharePoint.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Mexican tax filings.
• Experience in Direct Tax.
• Experience working within a Shared Services environment.
