Tax Administrator Co-op

Responsibilities

• Manage client classification and the collection of core withholding tax documentation.
• Produce and file global tax relief forms to ensure accurate double tax treaty exemptions.
• Monitor and assist in processing new accounts to meet production periods and accuracy metrics.
• Reconcile processes between sub-custodians, client reporting platforms, and internal reclaim systems.
• Monitor group mailbox queues to ensure timely fulfillment of service level agreements.
• Process and verify the payment of received tax refunds within established timeframes.
• Adhere to all policy and procedural guidelines, including monitoring for revisions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheet/financial accounting skills.
• High level of time management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional and client-focused service.
• Must be a returning student or require the work term as a mandatory component for graduation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a professional business environment.
• Foundational knowledge of the financial services industry.
