Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client accounts by handling bookkeeping needs and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Compute and prepare necessary tax returns for clients to ensure timely and accurate filings
• Perform data entry of accounting transactions into software systems such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks
• Conduct regular accuracy checks and reconciliations to identify and rectify financial discrepancies
• Prepare periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
• Stay updated on the latest UAE tax laws and regulatory changes to ensure continuous compliance
• Collaborate with tax experts and auditors to provide holistic financial management for clients
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client financial data and sensitive information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the business setup or consulting industry
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
