Tank Farm Operator

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all site safety standards.
• Prepare, blend, monitor, and control liquid batches to meet specific production requirements.
• Execute Cleaning in Place (CIP) activities to uphold food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Conduct quality analysis of liquids and support troubleshooting and root cause problem-solving.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the production facility to meet performance targets.
• Support on-site logistical movements, including shunting activities.

Requirements

• Technical proficiency in liquid handling and processing operations.
• Strong numeracy skills with confidence in performing calculations and quantitative checks.
• GCSE in Maths or an equivalent qualification.
• High attention to detail with a cautious and controlled working style.
• Ability to work effectively in a process-driven, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP, specifically with process orders.
• Understanding of SCADA systems and automated process control.
• Knowledge of process safety principles, such as lock out/tag out and hazardous energies.
• Previous shunting experience or a willingness to undergo training.
