Tamarack Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate collating, labeling, and patching machines
• Review specifications to set up equipment for web rolls, label affixing, or window patching
• Perform functions including assembling, perforating, stapling, gluing, folding, or cutting sheets
• Conduct safety inspections and document production tracking

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and job specifications
• Knowledge of quality and machining requirements for various paper stocks
• Skill in adjusting machines for weight, color, and machinability
• Ability to calculate distances, clearances, and fits in combining machines
• Proficiency with standard and specialized tools for machine maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of collating machine setup and operating procedures
