About the role

About the Company

David creates tools to help people build muscle and lose fat. Our first products are protein bars, and we’re building a platform for high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring across multiple functions, from talent strategy and sourcing through offer negotiation and close
  • Partner with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, hiring strategies, and interview processes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing market insights and talent intelligence
  • Identify and engage exceptional talent through proactive sourcing, referrals, and networking
  • Lead candidate evaluation to ensure high bar for capability and values alignment
  • Create a fast, thoughtful, and transparent candidate experience
  • Own recruiting operations, including pipeline management, interview coordination, and ATS hygiene
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and recruiting messaging that represent the David brand
  • Build and manage relationships with external recruiting partners
  • Continuously improve hiring processes and employer brand as the company scales

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional approach
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities with speed and precision
  • Strong curiosity about people and talent assessment
  • Excitement about building teams in a fast-paced, in-person CPG environment
