About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and selection processes for a variety of roles, including specialized, high-volume, and international positions
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, and facilitate interviews
- Coordinate and deliver engaging onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
- Support employee engagement, performance management, and talent development initiatives
- Contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle
- Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records using ATS, HRIS, and performance management platforms
- Provide guidance on employment legislation, collective agreement administration, and HR best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruitment and selection experience
- 2+ years of talent management experience (onboarding, performance management, engagement, etc.)
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CHRP or CHRL designation
- Experience recruiting in a unionized environment
- Experience supporting internships, student-funded programs, or international recruitment
