About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel and build candidate pipelines for engineers, product, design, and go-to-market roles
  • Source proactively via GitHub, LinkedIn, research corpora, niche communities, and referral networks
  • Craft precise, respectful, and relevant outreach messaging to drive conversions
  • Build a research layer by compiling structured candidate profiles and fit hypotheses
  • Instrument the funnel by tracking source quality, response rates, and pipeline health
  • Partner with the Talent Engineer to feed signal into automation workflows
  • Represent the company brand during every candidate touchpoint

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally for technical roles at an early-stage startup
  • Ability to quickly form fit hypotheses from resumes, GitHub profiles, or LinkedIn
  • Strong professional writing skills for thoughtful outreach
  • Ability to operate without a full playbook and document new processes
  • Data-literate with experience tracking pipeline and conversion rates
  • Familiarity with ATS tools (Ashby preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to construction, trades, or technical industries
