Talent Lead

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, providing the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world through a deep software and hardware stack.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring end to end, from defining roles and building pipelines to closing candidates
• Build and manage the recruiting team, including specialist technical recruiters
• Manage the inbound candidate pipeline to ensure high-quality applicants are not lost
• Run and coordinate paid work trials for candidates
• Act as the primary pitch for the company mission to prospective talent
• Optimize the Ashby ATS and integrate AI tooling for automated scoring and communications
• Partner with hiring managers across biology, software, automation, and commercial teams
• Develop organizational structures including leveling, compensation bands, and onboarding

Requirements

• Several years of experience hiring technical talent in high-growth environments
• Ability to conduct credible conversations with both scientists and engineers
• Deep understanding of technical domains (biology, software, or lab automation)
• Proficiency using AI tools to automate recruiting pipelines and workflows
• High autonomy and self-starter mindset
• Ability to move at startup speed and maintain high talent bars
• Experience with technical searches that require high-level assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Swiss labor market
• Experience hiring in European biotech or deep tech
• Experience building a talent function from the ground up
