Talent Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual assessments to provide career guidance and counseling to job seekers, specifically those WIOA eligible
• Provide detailed case management to assist customers in preparing for employment and self-sufficiency
• Assist customers in maintaining eligibility by ensuring attendance at required training, activities, and workshops
• Authorize and coordinate supportive services such as childcare and transportation
• Maintain and develop community resource contacts to support program goals
• Provide labor market information to customers
• Outreach to employers, agencies, and non-profits to place participants in subsidized employment
• Follow up on participant progress in subsidized employment and submit payroll information
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on program progress, expenditures, and employment services

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• At least one year of Sales or Customer Service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Valid Driver's license in good standing and automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree
• Previous WIOA experience
