Talent Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Counsel and assist customers regarding job search strategies, career advisement, and training issues
• Identify barriers to employment and connect customers with outside resources and programs
• Manage day-to-day customer relationships and document findings with clear case notes
• Facilitate job readiness and search workshops
• Analyze and critique resumes and required documentation for customer eligibility
• Maintain accurate and complete administrative records and correspondence
• Create and maintain policies and procedures for Career Advisement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, business, human resources, or related field
• Two plus years of relevant work experience
• Experience in career counseling or workforce development in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to motivate individuals and present workshops
• Knowledge of job search strategies and local community resources
• Ability to work first shift and overtime if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish, Arabic, or Russian
• Existing referral network with local human service agencies
