Talent Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual assessments to provide career guidance and counseling to job seekers
• Provide detailed case management to assist customers in preparing for employment
• Assist customers in maintaining eligibility for services through attendance and job searches
• Authorize and coordinate supportive services such as childcare and transportation
• Maintain and develop community resource contacts to support program goals
• Provide labor market information to customers
• Outreach to employers, agencies, and non-profits to place participants in subsidized employment
• Follow-up on participant progress and submit payroll information
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on program progress and expenditures

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• At least one year of Sales or Customer Service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Ability to conduct workshops and orientations

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree
