About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual assessments to provide career guidance and counseling to WIOA-eligible job seekers
- Provide detailed case management to assist customers in preparing for self-sufficient employment
- Assist customers in maintaining eligibility through attendance at training, workshops, and job searches
- Authorize and coordinate supportive services such as childcare and transportation
- Maintain and develop community resource contacts to support program goals
- Provide labor market information to customers
- Outreach to employers, agencies, and non-profits to place participants in subsidized employment
- Follow-up on participant progress and submit payroll information
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on program progress, expenditures, and employment services
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- At least one year of Sales or Customer Service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and objectives
- Ability to conduct workshops and orientations
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree
