Talent Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Counsel and assist program customers with job search strategies, career advisement, and professional goal setting.
• Identify and address barriers to employment by connecting customers with outside resources and programs.
• Manage day-to-day customer relationships, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining clear, concise case notes.
• Facilitate job readiness and search workshops to prepare customers for the workforce.
• Analyze and critique resumes and required documentation to ensure eligibility and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and complete administrative records, correspondence, and filing systems.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for career advisement and assist in training team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, business, human resources, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, specifically in career counseling, human services, or workforce development.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Existing referral network with local human service agencies.
• Familiarity with local community needs and resources.
