Talent Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Counsel and assist program customers with job search strategies, career advisement, and professional goal setting.
• Identify and work with customers to overcome barriers to employment.
• Manage day-to-day customer relationships and address concerns promptly with actionable plans.
• Facilitate job readiness and search workshops.
• Monitor and track customer participation to maximize program opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records, including case notes and correspondence.
• Analyze and critique resumes and required documentation for customer eligibility.
• Identify training needs and provide motivational support throughout the job search process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, marketing, business, human resources, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in career counseling, human services, or workforce development.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work first shift and overtime if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Existing referral network with local human service agencies.
