About the Company
Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco rebuilding the entire business as software. We are growing rapidly and moving at high speed to turn expert human judgment into compute.
Responsibilities
- Own Ashby end to end as the system administrator for the ATS
- Build and maintain job pipelines, candidate stages, scorecards, and interview plans
- Coordinate complex multi-round interviews and super days across candidates, interviewers, and founders
- Build and run the interviewer training program to ensure calibration and high standards
- Manage candidate communications to ensure a clear, warm, and fast experience
- Support the Recruiting Lead in operationalizing sourcing campaigns and flagging bottlenecks
Requirements
- 2–4 years in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a people-ops adjacent role
- Hands-on experience with an ATS (Ashby experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder interview processes
- Strong written communication skills
- Extremely organized with experience in high-volume scheduling
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or running interviewer training or calibration programs
- Prior work at a high-growth startup (Series A–C)
- Familiarity with structured interviewing methodology and scorecard design
- Experience working directly with a recruiting or people ops lead
