About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the business, translating organizational needs into effective talent attraction and development support.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including interviewing, employment testing, offers, and onboarding.
- Design and implement career plans and succession planning in partnership with business leaders.
- Drive the Performance Management Process for the salaried group, including coaching, feedback reviews, and data tracking.
- Maintain relationships with educational institutions to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Assist with internal investigations regarding employee misconduct and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Analyze organizational structures and headcount to ensure resources are adequately integrated and aligned with future objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Human Resources role.
- Post-secondary degree in Business (with a major in Human Resources or Industrial Relations) or Engineering.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, talent development, training, and succession planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong conflict management and investigation skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally to different Tenaris manufacturing facilities within Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the Oil and Gas or Manufacturing industries.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Background in other HR functional areas such as Labour Relations or Benefits.
