About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Partner with department and program leaders to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and Recruitment Operations Specialists
  • Establish recruiting metrics, dashboards, and analytics to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and federal contractor regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFCCP)
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies via professional networks, universities, and military programs
  • Lead employer branding initiatives within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Oversee applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of talent acquisition experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or coaching recruiting professionals
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or highly technical industries
  • Proven success recruiting engineering, manufacturing, and technical talent
  • Experience managing ATS and recruiting technologies
  • Strong understanding of employment law and OFCCP compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations or startups
  • Experience recruiting candidates requiring U.S. security clearances
  • Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Person requirements
  • Experience developing recruiting metrics and executive reporting
  • Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing
