About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives
- Partner with department and program leaders to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and Recruitment Operations Specialists
- Establish recruiting metrics, dashboards, and analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and federal contractor regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFCCP)
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies via professional networks, universities, and military programs
- Lead employer branding initiatives within the aerospace and defense industry
- Oversee applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of talent acquisition experience
- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or coaching recruiting professionals
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or highly technical industries
- Proven success recruiting engineering, manufacturing, and technical talent
- Experience managing ATS and recruiting technologies
- Strong understanding of employment law and OFCCP compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-growth organizations or startups
- Experience recruiting candidates requiring U.S. security clearances
- Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Person requirements
- Experience developing recruiting metrics and executive reporting
- Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing
