Tailor

Responsibilities

• Deliver a best-in-class tailoring experience through high-quality alterations, repairs, and technical sewing services.
• Execute basic services such as hemming, patching, repairing, and tapering, as well as more complex technical alterations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to elevate the client experience and resolve tailor-related concerns.
• Educate and train store team members on Tailor Shop offerings and services.
• Suggest fashion looks and trends to consumers based on their specific needs.
• Manage cash handling and Tailor Shop merchandise operations in compliance with company policy.
• Promote the Levi's Red Tab Loyalty program to enhance the omni-channel consumer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional sewing or tailoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of jeans construction and denim sewing machines.
• Deep understanding of textiles, fabrics, and textile repair.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
• Flexible availability to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for fashion and current trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in apparel design.
