Tailor

Responsibilities

• Execute basic alteration services including hemming, patching, repairing, and tapering
• Perform technical alterations on various garments using specialized equipment
• Deliver exceptional customer service to elevate the client experience and resolve tailor-related concerns
• Educate and train store teams on Tailor Shop offerings and services
• Suggest fashion looks and trends to consumers based on their specific needs
• Manage cash handling and Tailor Shop merchandise operations in compliance with company policy
• Promote the Red Tab Loyalty program to engage consumers with the brand's omni experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of sewing or tailoring experience
• Strong knowledge of jeans construction and denim sewing machines
• Thorough understanding of textiles, fabrics, and textile repair
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, and bending
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a passion for current fashion trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training in apparel design
