Responsibilities

• Responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities, and information
• Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity
• De-escalate situations and handle individuals that need to be removed from the property
• Perform detailed and diligent patrols
• Handle emergency alarms quickly (e.g., Fire Alarms)
• Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel
• Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed
• Work with local police service
• Draft reports and maintain accurate electronic security records
• Coordinate with internal departments during emergencies or accidents
• Assist in carrying out Emergency Response Plans

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Minimum 1 year of tactical security experience in large venue settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Ability to remain calm and multitask under pressure
• Computer and tech savvy
• Strong decision-making ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with transportation yard operations
• Experience in a busy logistics yard environment
• Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification
