Tactical Radios Field Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site product demonstrations, technical support, maintenance, and operational guidance for tactical radio communications systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair L3Harris Tactical Radio equipment in various field environments, including military bases and remote sites.
• Conduct system diagnostics and perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide on-site training and assistance to customers during live exercises and mission preparation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement system upgrades.
• Document all field service activities, including maintenance records, service reports, and incident logs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with DoD and international military personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience, OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven field service experience specifically with tactical radio and communications equipment.
• Ability to travel 50% of the year, often on short notice, including CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Possession of a valid US and International Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and using L3Harris Falcon III and Falcon IV product lines.
• Experience with IP-capable waveforms and IP networking.
• Experience working with international customers.
• Strong understanding of RF principles and satellite communications.
• Ability to work independently in remote and challenging environments.
