Tableau Developer - Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights for product and business decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and LookerML.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate large-scale datasets.
• Develop Python scripts for data extraction, cleaning, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Monitor user behavior and conversion funnels using event-based tracking tools like Mixpanel.
• Conduct A/B tests and apply statistical techniques to validate insights and feature impact.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define metrics and track performance.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery for scalable data processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data or product analytics, preferably in e-commerce or marketplaces.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to optimize complex queries and joins.
• Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (including LookerML).
• Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or BigQuery.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and A/B testing methodologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Mumbai on a PST time zone alignment (8:30 PM to 5:30 AM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-based analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Heap.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL tools, or version control tools like Git.
• Experience with other cloud-based data platforms like Redshift or Snowflake.
