About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and support activities across multi-environment Tableau infrastructure
- Manage security administration, release management, and general systems maintenance
- Handle development activities from requirements gathering to testing and deployment
- Act as an expert in Data Interoperability, Analytics, and BI
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Production Support issue resolution
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to identify business needs and goals
- Work with vendor product management to implement long-term Tableau strategies
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Extensive lifecycle experience with Tableau
- Hands-on experience with data architecture and data analysis
- Strong requirements gathering and BI development skills
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL Service Management disciplines
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for production support
- Ability to champion BI principles with business owners and DBAs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OBIEE, Spotfire, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Actuate, SAS, SSRS, or Informatica
