About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate graduate and undergraduate course timetables and classroom scheduling
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training process for teaching assistants
  • Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries from students, faculty, and the public
  • Provide frontline advising to undergraduate students
  • Collect and organize course and room requirements for effective scheduling
  • Generate reports and support program administration including data entry, awards, and milestone tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of recent and related experience within a large post-secondary institution
  • Significant experience coordinating large course timetables and classroom scheduling
  • Proficiency with the LSM portal or equivalent classroom booking software
  • Experience using ROSI or an equivalent Student Information System (SIS)
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Quercus, Slate, or Degree Explorer
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with diplomacy
