T-Line Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for transmission line projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to develop comprehensive estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the estimating process
• Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project information
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimators and team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for transmission line projects
• Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and construction practices
• Proficiency in Primavera, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects
