Systems Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with systems engineering and program leadership to define vehicle integration and test activities
• Maintain an up-to-date test objective database
• Ensure vehicle testing meets all requirements
• Participate in test planning, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), execution, and troubleshooting
• Architect and optimize data review methodology and analysis tools
• Set standards for test planning and documentation

Requirements

• Experience in small, dynamic engineering teams
• Previous vehicle integration, ground, or flight testing experience
• Familiarity with avionics, instrumentation, software, fluid systems, liquid rockets, or structures
• Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Familiarity with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Familiarity with Jira, Jama, Cameo, or DOORS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Test Conductor
• Experience with major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience with air-launched hypersonic vehicle development
• Experience with hot-structure airframes
• Current DOD Secret security clearance
• Programming skills in Matlab or Python
