About the role

Responsibilities

  • Author and maintain high-quality technical publications including Interface Control Documents, System Architecture Descriptions, Operator Manuals and Maintenance Guides
  • Document physical, electrical and logical integration interfaces including wire harnesses, pinouts and signal telemetry protocols
  • Author flight-test procedures, aerodynamic performance envelopes and flight-limitation documentation
  • Create isometric line art, block diagrams and system flowcharts derived from CAD or electrical schematics
  • Participate in design reviews, validation events and hardware integration sessions to verify procedure accuracy

Requirements

  • Experience authoring technical documentation in aerospace, defence, robotics or UAV programmes
  • Ability to interpret 3D CAD assemblies, electrical wire harness schematics, PCB layouts and software API documentation
  • Proficiency in structured authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, LaTeX or Confluence
  • Experience working within PLM and version control environments like Windchill, Arena, or Git
  • Proven ability to translate complex engineering architectures into clear user-facing procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with aerodynamic performance documentation and flight manual authoring in regulated aerospace environments
  • Experience creating visual technical content directly from CAD source files
